Esthetics Portfolio & Journey

Sharing My Passion for Skincare & Beauty

Esthetics Portfolio

After five years of researching and writing about skincare as a beauty writer and editor, I decided to take my passion further by becoming a licensed esthetician. I’m currently completing my clinical hours at Brittany Beauty Academy. I’m immersing myself in the study of skin conditions, advanced facial techniques, ingredient science, and treatments like extractions and facial massages.

It’s one thing to write about trending skincare products and the benefits of Gua Sha, it’s another thing to master it and understand how each technique interacts with the layers of the skin. This dual perspective, combining editorial expertise with clinical training, fuels my mission to educate others and help people feel confident in their beauty.

The dropdown includes the services I’m training in, along with the certifications I’ve earned so far. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes of my esthetics journey and future service offerings.

  • My approach to facials combines results-driven techniques with a calming, personalized touch. As part of my training, I practice creating customized facial treatments for walk-ins, other students, and clients I bring in. Each facial is designed based on skin analysis, ingredient knowledge, and treatment techniques I’m actively learning and refining. My training combines both classroom instruction and supervised client practice at Brittany Beauty Academy, along with additional continuing education from professional skincare brands. These certifications reflect the skills I’ve already gained and the services I’m actively practicing on models, walk-in clients, and peers as part of my education.

My goal is to continue expanding my expertise in modern facial techniques, skin therapies, and beauty treatments that deliver real results, always with safety, care, and your skin’s health in mind.

Copywriting, Marketing, & Web Design

✨ Copywriting & Editorial

With a strong editorial foundation, I create beauty, lifestyle, and sustainability content that informs, inspires, and builds trust.

At StyldLife, a digital styling consultancy, I research and write trend-driven blog posts, edit Crown Club articles and newsletters, and develop email campaigns to drive audience engagement. I also write product descriptions for The Beauty Shop, StyldLife’s in-house beauty brand, and create webinar promotions and branded graphics.

As a Lifestyle Editor at Mood of Living, a sustainable living magazine, I crafted product descriptions, brand bios, and editorial features that highlighted ethical brands and their practices. My role also involved representing the brand at New York Fashion Week, coordinating photoshoots, and managing product procurement and brand partnerships.

From skincare articles to brand stories, my writing bridges the gap between industry expertise and approachable storytelling.

📈 Content Marketing & Strategy

At StyldLife, I create and manage the brand’s weekly beauty & lifestyle email newsletters and the monthly StyldLife Weddings emails, each designed to highlight seasonal trends, product launches, and styling tips. These email campaigns drive traffic, promote in-house products, and strengthen audience relationships. I also create conversion-focused blog posts, promotional graphics, and social media content, ensuring everything aligns with the brand’s voice and strategic goals.

In addition, I cultivate partnerships within the bridal industry, building connections with bridal shops and vendors to expand brand visibility and future collaborations.

During my time at Mood of Living, I combined storytelling with strategic outreach, leading partnership development, coordinating brand collaborations, and crafting editorial content that spotlighted conscious brands and products.

Whether launching new products, growing subscriber lists, or expanding brand partnerships, my marketing work is designed to connect thoughtfully with the audience and deliver results.
