From Beauty Writer to Esthetician-in-Training

After five years of researching and writing about skincare as a beauty writer and editor, I decided to dive deeper by becoming a licensed esthetician. I’m currently enrolled at Brittany Beauty Academy and immersing myself in skin conditions, advanced facial techniques, extractions, ingredients, and makeup application. It’s one thing to describe a hydrafacial in an article, but it’s another to master the device hands-on while understanding exactly how each serum interacts with the skin’s layers. This dual perspective, editorial expertise paired with clinical training, fuels my mission to educate and enhance confidence in one’s beauty.
